Explore the joys of improvisation at Expatimprov's weekend workshops in Düsseldorf.


Whether you're an experienced actor, a seasoned improviser or a complete beginner, our fun and pressure-free classes are open to all levels.
No previous experience is required.


Join us for four hours of laughter, spontaneous joy and the chance to boost your confidence while releasing stress. Unleash your creativity, make connections, step out of your comfort zone, gain confidence, embrace openness and positivity, and have a lot of fun!


Workshops are priced at 30€ for a 4 hour session and 50€ for both days (8 hours). Our aim is to provide a supportive, safe and non-judgmental environment to explore the basics of improvisation. Topics covered include dynamic games, character development, narrative creation, scene initiation, storytelling techniques, overcoming mental barriers, short form games, free improvisation and more.


The workshop is conducted in plain English in a positive and safe, non-judgmental space.


You don't need to bring or wear anything special, but we recommend comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.

Feel free to bring your own drinks and / or some snacks.

The venue is conveniently located just 2 minutes from Niederheid subway station, with free parking available outside the building for those arriving by car.

Six-hour Stage Fighting Workshop.

Under the expert guidance of Ekki Eumann, an experienced professional actor and stage combat specialist, this intensive workshop promises to take your stage presence and physical storytelling to a new level.

With over three decades of experience, Ekki is a true expert in his field, and his workshops are known not only for clear instruction in stage combat techniques, but also for prioritising safety and enjoyment.

Workshop Highlights:
Develop the essential fundamentals of unarmed stage combat under expert guidance. Learn to execute convincing punches, kicks and grabs without compromising safety, and discover how to use your movements to tell a compelling story.
Explore how subtle nuances in posture, footwork and gesture can enhance the emotional impact of your scenes. Create a visually stunning and emotional experience for your audience.

Learn how clear communication and understanding of your partner's movements make for a seamless and realistic performance. Above all, enjoy every minute of this six-hour workshop and the company of your fellow students.
Fun and joy are at the heart of this workshop. 

You'll leave with a smile on your face and an impressive repertoire of stage combat techniques.

Classes are held in English, with the option of German if required.

Sechsstündiger Bühnenkampf-Workshop.

Unter der fachkundigen Anleitung von Ekki Eumann, einem erfahrenen professionellen Schauspieler und Bühnenkampfspezialisten, verspricht dieser intensive Workshop, deine Bühnenpräsenz und dein körperliches Erzählen auf ein neues Niveau zu heben.

Mit mehr als drei Jahrzehnten Erfahrung ist Ekki ein echter Experte auf seinem Gebiet. Seine Workshops sind nicht nur dafür bekannt, dass sie klare Anweisungen zu Bühnenkampftechniken geben, sondern auch dafür, dass Sicherheit und Spaß an erster Stelle stehen.

Workshop-Highlights:
Erarbeite die wesentlichen Grundlagen des waffenlosen Bühnenkampfes unter fachkundiger Anleitung. Lerne, überzeugende Schläge, Tritte und Griffe auszuführen, ohne die Sicherheit zu gefährden, und entdecke, wie du deine Bewegungen nutzen kannst, um eine fesselnde Geschichte zu erzählen.
Erforsche, wie subtile Nuancen in Körperhaltung, Beinarbeit und Gestik die emotionale Wirkung deiner Szenen verstärken können. Schaffe ein visuell beeindruckendes und emotionales Erlebnis für dein Publikum.
Lerne, wie eine klare Kommunikation und das Verständnis für die Bewegungen deines Partners zu einer nahtlosen und realistischen Performance führen. Und vor allem: Genieße jede Minute dieses sechsstündigen Workshops und die Gesellschaft deiner Mitschüler/innen.
Spaß und Freude stehen bei diesem Workshop im Mittelpunkt.
Du wirst ihn mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht und einem beeindruckenden Repertoire an Bühnenkampftechniken verlassen.

Der Unterricht findet auf Englisch statt, auf Wunsch auch auf Deutsch.
